중형 오토바이 면허시험 합격 [Getting middle class motorcycle license agreement]

그동안 한국에서 가지고 있었던 면허를 그냥 일본 면허로 교체해서 사용하고 있었다. 한국의 1종 보통면허는 여기서 자동차 보통 운전면허와 오토바이 소형 운전면허로 교체가 된다. 따라서 소형 (~125cc)까지 오토바이를 몰 수 있었던 건데, 그 이외의 오토바이 면허로는 우리나라가 2종 소형으로 125cc 이상을 다 몰 수 있는 반면 일본은 중형 (125~400cc)과 대형 (400cc 이상) 오토바이 면허로 나뉘어져 있고, 취득을 위한 학원 가격도 중형이 5~6만엔, 대형이 또 5~6만엔 정도 들어서 엄두가 나지 않았었다.

Until now, my driver's license is what was changed from Korean license without any test, but after paying around 4,000 yen and 1-hour class. Originally said class 1 normal, which can drive cars that carry less than 11 persons and motorcycles that under 125cc. This rule is similar with Japan, so I can drive 'normal' cars and 'small' motorcycles in Japan. The difference with motorcycle license in Japan comparison with Korea's is that there are classes in motorcycle: small (~125cc), middle (~400cc) and high (limitless). To get the bigger license, registering a license school and participate classes of designated time, then pass the test. The price is more than 50,000 yen for each class, bit expensive.

타고 있는 오토바이에 정을 들이고 열심히 타고 있었던 차에, 이제 슬슬 안타까운 점들이 보이기 시작하는 것은 어쩌면 자연스러운 일일 것이다. 모양이나 승차감은 나무랄 데가 없지만, 파워가 부족하고 속도가 나지 않는 것은 참 마음이 안타까운 일이었다. 사실 고속도로는 들어갈 일이 별로 없기도 하기에 욕심이 그리 나지는 않지만, 언덕을 올라갈 때면 헐떡거리는 엔진이 딱하고 아무리 당겨도 70키로가 최대인 속도는 참...

I love my motorcycle, but bit anxious with its power, looks natural for all riders. Shape and style are good enough, but low speed and lacks of power which is especially when upon the hill makes me irritating. Actually I hate to drive blocked road such as highway, but max. 70 kph and climb panting...

아직은 배기량을 높일 수는 없는 지경이고, 일단은 면허라도 올려놓고 싶은 마음은 있었는데, 워낙 비용이 비싸니 엄두도 못 내고 있었다. 그런데 우연히 들른 학교 협동조합에서 이벤트로 반값에 면허를 올릴 수 있도록 하는 프로그램이 있었다!! 나중에 알고 보니 다른 운전면허학원들은 그런 프로그램이 없는데, 타국에서 온 학생들이 보통 자동차 운전면허와 소형 바이크 면허가 있는 것을 이 Rakuto 운전면허학원에서 간파했는지 이런 경우에 한해서 5시간만 강의를 받고 시험을 볼 수 있게 배려하는 프로그램이었던 거다.

But I have no money enough to upgrade moto. Just start to think of upgrading license only, but it was postponed also due to price. And then, when I eventually visit COOP shop of Kyoto univ., a license school ads the special discounted program to upgrade motorcycle license only!! Afterwards I notice that there are no such programs in other schools, which may be because that this Naruto Driving School recognizes the want for upgrading. This program (half price of other plan) needs only 5 hour classes for who has license like mine and want to upgrade motorcycle license to middle class only.

얼른 등록을 하고서 주말을 모두 투자해서 교육과정을 이수했다. 이곳 시스템은 학원에서 5시간 강의를 수강한 후 (하루 최대 2시간, 즉 3일 이상) 별도의 날에 졸업시험을 치러서 (결국 4일 필요, 매주 수/토/일 13:00 시험 실시) 합격한 사람은 합격증을 발부하고, 이걸 가지고 면허센터에 가서 등록을 하면 되는 게다. 그동안 바이크를 타고 다녔던 터라 그리 어려움 없이 기능을 숙지하고 오늘 시험을 봐서 철썩 붙었다. 운전면허도 2번 떨어지고 3번째 붙었었는데... 이런 가축적인 일이 있나...

Makes me motivating^^ Just visit the school and register, then complete 5 hours spending all weekend. (There are limitations of daily school hour as 2, so I spend min. 3 days to complete 5 hours, and the test day, 13:00 of every Wed/Sat/Sun, must be different with school days. Then need min. 4 days to go through.) After passing the exam, one can get the certificate and receive new driver's license by submitting this to government license facility. There are no troubles with class due to the experience of riding, and succeed to pass today. What a good though I dropped driver's license two times in Korea...

언제 이 면허를 쓸 수 있을지는 알 수 없는 일이지만, 아무튼 마음이 뿌듯하다. 참, 등록은 평일 10-11시 / 1-2시에 접수를 받는다고 하니 하루 더 투자를 해야 할 상황이다.

I don't know when I can drive bigger cc, but bit brimful. Note that registration in license facility can be done at 10 to 11 am / 1 to 2 pm only in weekday.
